7 June 04 Rink Closure Blackburn Arena will be closed on Monday 14 June for essential maintenance. Therefore, Under 14 team selection trials on that date are cancelled. Only one U14 team trial selection will take place next week - Friday 18 June - 7 to 8pm.

3 June 04 Summer Shutdown The end of season summer shutdown will take place from 2 to 16 August. There will be no BIHDA ice hockey training sessions during this period. Training will recommence on Monday 16 August. Trophy collection Those players who were unable to attend this year's presentation evening will be able to collect their trophies, in person, between 7.15 and 8.15pm on Tuesday 15 June. This will be the final year that trophies will be available for collection after the event unless individual prior arrangements are made or genuine reasons for non attendance are supplied to the Association. Ice-time The BIHDA management committee thank the rink management for the generous donation of the ice-time for the recent play-off and challenge games that has resulted in a saving of about £1000 to the Association.
