24 Apr 04 The BIHDA, has taken on the services of Gary Magee, one of our U16 player's parents who is a marketing specialist, to create a marketing policy. Phase 1 will target 5-13 year olds for placement in the u10s / 12s / 14s. Volunteers are required to form a sub committee to implement the plan. Please contact a member of the Management committee if you wish to help.

14 Apr 04 It has now been confirmed that the Sparrowhawks' withdrawal from the relegation playoffs has been accepted.

9 Apr 04 Withdrawal from U12 Play-offs The BIHDA has applied to the EIHA for the withdrawal of the Sparrowhawks from this year's play-off games. Taking into consideration the relative inexperience and age of our players who will be playing for the Sparrowhawks during season 2004/05, the Sparrowhawks coaching staff feel that the players will benefit from competing in the 'B' league North next season. The EIHA decision will be announced in the near future. Moving up date Due to some teams now competing in play-offs and the delayed completion of these games, the players move up date has been put back by one week to commence from the 07th June. Player registration for the 2004/5 season is underway, can you please ensure that the players register promptly so the players can be assessed for team selection for 2004/05.
