28 May 03 Eagles v Dallas Stars Development The Eagles will be playing host to the Dallas Stars Development team on Friday 6 June - Face off now 6.45pm -Admission to the game Adults £2.10, Children £1.10. Come along and enjoy the game U16A Relegation Play-offs A 5-1 victory, away, against Sheffield'B' on Saturday 24 May put the Eagles back in contention to remain in the 'A' league for another season. Sheffield 'B' visit Blackburn on Sunday 1 June, face off 6pm, for the deciding, final, winner takes all, game.

7 May 03 Annual Presentation Evening This season's Presentation Evening will take place on Friday 4 July at King George's Hall, Blackburn. The event will commence at 7pm. Team Selection Trials A 5-man selection board including former Manchester Storm Head Coach, Daryl Lipsey, has been formed to select teams for season 2003/04. 'A' team players will be selected with winning games and the leagues, if possible, as a priority. 'B' Teams, although still aiming to win as many games as possible, will endeavour to give development and game opportunities to all players. The second round of team assessments will take place for all current team players during team training in the week commencing 2 June 'Open' team trials will take place the following week, week commencing 9 June. Players from outside the BIHDA will be able to attend the trials during that week. During this week, players will train on the appropriate nights for their respective age groups for next season Next season's U10s - 6.45pm Thursday 12 June U12s - 6.45pm Wednesday 11 June U14s - 7pm Monday 9 and Friday 13 June U16s - 6-8pm Tuesday 10 June U19s - 10.15pm Wednesday 11 and Friday 13 June A further set of trials during the following week may be required before final team selections are made

6 May 03 Conference Tournament News Over the bank holiday weekend the annual Conference Tournament took place at Hull Arena The BIHDA were represented in each of the Northern Conference teams: Marc Etherington played in defence for the victorious U11 North team. Richard Bentham and Chris Arnone's performances in the U13s North team saw both players being selected for this year's School of Excellence whilst Richard made the select U13s team in defence. U13s North team finished in third position Greg Ruxton and Ollie Lomax were also selected for the School of Excellence after competing at U15's level with Greg being chosen in the select teams as the top netminder for his age group. U15s North finished fourth.

4 May 03 The first team assessments for the current Harriers players has been rescheduled for the training session on Monday 12 May 03
