28 Nov 03 Eagles Tartan Tour - Blackburn Eagles management have arranged two challenge games during the festive season. They will play at Ayr - face off 1815 on Saturday 20 December with a second game at Dumfries the following morning - 21 December - face off 1015

24 Nov 03 New Forum - Owing to the recently popularity of the Hockey Nest Forum, the old forum is fast approaching its maximum number of posts. So a new host for the forum has been obtained. Unfortunately the old forum postings cannot be transferred but the old bravenet forum will remain active until 1 Dec 03. It can still be viewed by clicking on the new link that has been added to the the Hockey Nest Home page. Individuals will need to register to be able to post on the new forums. The option to hide these details from public viewing is available.

10 Nov 03 A number of fixture changes have been released recently. The Sparrowhawks opponents on 11 Apr and 28 December have been reversed and a number of Thunderhawk fixtures have changed. Your nestmaster can't guarantee that he's found them all so please check with your team managers.

7 Nov 03 The Paisley Juniors (Renfrewshire Junior Ice Hockey Club, Lagoon, Paisley, Scotland) are planning to hold a 3 day Christmas Tournament. The dates for the tournament would be Saturday 27th December, Sunday 28th December & Monday 29th December 2003. The format for each day would be as follows:

Saturday 27th of December U12's - Paisley plus 5 other teams. Each team will play each other in matches consisting of 2 x 10 minute periods. On completion of this - 5th place will play 6th, 3rd place will play 4th and 1st will play 2nd to establish the overall positions. Total games for each team = 6

Sunday 28th of December U14's Paisley plus 7 other teams. Each team will play each other in matches consisting of 2 x 10 minute periods. On completion of this - 7th place will play 8th, 5th place will play 6th, 3rd place will play 4th and 1st will play 2nd to establish the overall positions. Total games for each team = 8

Monday 29th of December U16's Paisley plus 7 other teams. Each team will play each other in matches consisting of 2 x 10 minute periods. On completion of this - 7th place will play 8th, 5th place will play 6th, 3rd place will play 4th and 1st will play 2nd to establish the overall positions. Total games for each team = 8 The entry fee for those teams who wish to compete will be £50 per team
